Who are they recognized by?

Designed and delivered for over 60 years by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris Ile-de-France, the Professional French Diplomas benefit from the influence of one of the most powerful chambers in Europe and in the world, which represents the interests of more than 670,000 companies.

These diplomas were also very quickly adopted by schools of the Paris Ile-de-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry and their partner schools around the world. Thus, professional French diplomas are recognized by HEC Paris and CEMS, The Global Alliance in Management Education, which brings together more than 30 Business Schools around the world.

How to pass the tests?

Professional French Diplomas are aimed at all students and professionals who wish to attest to their level of French in a professional context.

The tests are accessible to candidates aged over 16.

You can either take the tests directly that correspond to the skills you wish to validate, or register for a preparation program.

The tests are taken online and followed by an oral interview.

They are in fact distributed into two parts :

1- Understand and process information (between 45 min and 2 hours depending on level)

  • Process written information
  • Process oral information
  • Interact in writing

2-Interact orally (between 5 and 15 min depending on the level with preparation time)

  • Two role-playing activities

By whom are the Diplomas recognized?

National recognitions

Professional French Diplomas are recognized by several ministries in Europe (France, Switzerland, Italy, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Austria, etc.).

International recognition

The French diploma in international relations was designed in partnership with the International Organization of the Francophonie, which recognizes and prescribes it in different international programs.

How do I request special accommodation?

Business French offers different arrangements to make the DFP accessible to candidates with disabilities.

The candidate must provide a medical certificate at its examination center. This certificate is from a practitioner and explains the nature of the disability. How am I evaluated?

Scale and evaluation criteria

The Professional French Diplomas include two series of activities: Understanding and processing information and Interact orally.

Each series of activities gives rise to a score out of 100.

To obtain the Professional French Diploma, you must:
