Who is it for?
This diploma meets the need for professional French certification among non-French-speaking restaurant, hotel and travel agency staff, to reach French-speaking customers or develop into French-speaking markets.
Particularly suited for: receptionists, airline agents, travel advisors, package tour operators, tourist guides, entertainers, waiters and head waiters.
Activity examples:
Take an order, welcome a customer, respond to customer reviews online, present a guided tour itinerary, write promotional text for a tourist offer, explain a menu and advise a customer.

Level: A2 CEFR — elementary level, can understand and express in very simple everyday professional reception situations.
Understanding and processing information: Can understand key elements of administrative documents (passport, ID) and customer messages. Can write simple reply emails to information requests, confirmations or cancellations.
Oral interaction: Can very simply welcome a customer, describe a tourist product, exchange factual information in the most common situations.
Level: B1 CEFR — independent level, can understand and express in everyday social and professional situations, including unexpected ones.
Understanding and processing information: Can understand key elements of customer-facing professional documents (menus, brochures, maps, activity programmes, tourist service descriptions). Can write tailored proposals in response to service requests and personalised replies to customer reviews.
Oral interaction: Can present a tourist offer in a personalised and argued way, lead a guided tour.
Level: B2 CEFR — advanced independent level, communicates effectively across a wide range of tourism, hospitality and catering professional situations, including complex and unexpected ones.
