Professional French Diploma — International Relations
Valid for life, the DFP International Relations was created at the request of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development and the International Organisation of La Francophonie — two institutions that support the use of French within international organisations and in political and diplomatic exchanges.
It was developed with the pedagogical collaboration of the French Department of the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna. It assesses written and oral comprehension and expression through the completion of professional tasks specific to international relations: articles, conventions, presentations, negotiations.

Oral interaction: Can take part in routine exchanges to present their institution, a country's situation, a mission, to explain or negotiate important aspects of an action.
Level: B2 CEFR competency — independent level, communicates effectively across a wide range of professional situations, including those involving unexpected events.
Understanding and processing information: Can understand important details in international relations professional writing and extract relevant information from documents (notes, emails, data, action plans). Can take notes to write reports, summaries, syntheses.
Oral interaction: Can present structured information on international themes and defend a point of view in formal situations.
Level: C1 CEFR competency — expert level, advanced mastery of French in international relations, can handle complex topics with ease and precision.
