About the CBP programme

The Basic Professional Skills programme training activities aim to increase the chances of integration and return to employment, particularly for people with significant language difficulties that hinder access to qualifying training and, ultimately, to professional integration.

They also concern people whose lack of qualifications or low qualification level prevents sustainable integration and who need to acquire the basic skills necessary to build a professional project and join a qualifying/professional training pathway or access employment.

The training implements modular and individualised training activities focused on developing basic skills in a professional context.

Training objectives

  • Enable the professional integration of people with language difficulties by acquiring B1 CEFR language level and basic skills, aiming for a certification
  • Where this level is not achievable, acquire the maximum attainable language level according to the entry level and the trainee's abilities
  • Consolidate/develop a professional project with a view to accessing qualifying/professional training or employment
