The assimilation interview
As part of the French naturalisation procedure, an individual interview is conducted by a prefecture officer to assess your assimilation into the French community. The interview covers:
- Your oral French proficiency (minimum B1 level, certified by TEF IRN)
- Your knowledge of the values and institutions of the French Republic
- Your integration journey in France
- Your life plans in France
